I trained at the London College of Printing in Graphic Origination and Reproduction and then at Brighton University in Bookbinding. I now focus on telling stories through my work and on recording nature in my immediate surroundings , using the processes that I know and love.

All my work is biodegradable and I use or make my own natural glues that don’t contain plastics. The papers I use come from St. Cuthberts Mill in Somerset, England and from Khadi Papers who specialise in producing handmade papers for artists. All papers are made from cotton rag or other fibrous plant material.

I use repurposed clothing and fabric for my textile pieces and incorporate my own plant dyed natural threads and colour.

I am presently learning to make botanical inks to use in my gelatine and nature printing processes.

I have taught various workshops at Ditchling Museum in East Sussex and at St. Wilfrid’s hospice in Eastbourne. I have a Diploma as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant and have run classes at various schools and colleges, including Western Road School and Lewes Old Grammar School.
